What is Cyber Essentials Plus?

Cyber Essentials is a UK Government–backed security accreditation scheme that helps organisations of all sizes and industries implement the necessary technical and administrative controls to protect their networks and systems. Cyber Essentials Plus is the more rigorous, independently audited level of the scheme. While the basic Cyber Essentials certification involves a self‑assessment, Cyber Essentials Plus includes a hands‑on technical audit carried out by an approved third-party assessor.
