Over the last decade the worlds of business communications and IT have been drawn closer and closer together with more widespread adoption of smart and soft clients and power dialling links. The pandemic took this to the next level, with many businesses needing to rapidly transform the way they communicate. Many opted to put video conferencing and collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams at the centre of their organisation, rather than having them as an ‘occasional use bolt on’.
In order to help our clients to embrace this exciting new world, we’ve partnered with Gamma Telecom to bring Microsoft Teams telephony into our product range. In the first three months of 2021 we’ve helped nine different businesses [including our own] to move over to Microsoft Teams as their main telephone system.
Many opted to discard traditional desk phones and operate solely through Teams apps on their computers and smart devices, handing everything through good quality headsets. In all of these instances we were able to design, supply and install the required systems.
